New Cross Join feature

The latest version of EBI’s Smart-UI has been released.

The additions are:

– added the ability to join Smart Tables using the Cross Join method in Dynamic Views. See below for the details on how this works

– added the “Show SQL” menu option to Views

– Updated the export to Excel feature.

– Updated the Machine Learning .NET Framework

Cross Joins

There are two ways a pair of STs can be joined using the new Cross Join.

One way is to modify an existing Join and change it to be a Cross Join.

Another way is to select the first table, then select the second table while holding the CTRL key pressed, and then hit the “Add Cross Join” button. This second way is useful when there are no columns of a compatible data type in these STs, so no regular joins can be created.
