EBI has documented Business Continuity Plans that provide a focussed response to disruptions such as this Covid-19 outbreak. Implementation of these plans will ensure that EBI does everything it can to safeguard the health of its employees and minimise the impact on the delivery of services to you.
Our infrastructure and cloud operations teams have the following measures in place:
- Working Remotely: For the majority of our customers and partners, work can be conducted through remote connections, which enables teams to work off-site for most tasks. Our teams are now all working separately and remotely to mitigate the risk of an entire team becoming infected.
- Safety On-Site: Where on-site work is required (for example, working in data centre locations, or your site), staff who are on-site to accomplish specific tasks are spending only the minimum time required in locations.
- Maintenance and Support: For our maintenance and support functions, this is very much business as usual. We have business continuity plans in place and all of our internal systems, tools, monitors, etc. are designed to allow for remote work.
We realise these are uncertain times as the world navigates this pandemic. EBI is fully committed to ensuring the health, safety, and well-being of its employees. This is our top priority in order to maintain the business continuity needed to provide the support and service for all of our customers.
